I can't remember if there was a reason why I decided to start writing
Perhaps I thought a reason would come to me if I just began
Before I had started writing this I was practicing guitar
But not too long after starting to play a dull pain began to pester the part of the palm that joins with the thumb
And so I felt inclined to move on to something else
I don't like writing about such mundane things
Trivial thoughts are dead ends
I wish I were good at poetry
At the moment I am absolutely devoid of any lyrical ability
Which quite bothers me

I am practically content
I am mostly content
